Pleasure and Worldly Success = Path of Desire
Path of Renunciation -- giving something up; the opposite of desire in some ways.
It's no longer all about you.
"Dharma": Duty - it's about the community.
The goal is now to serve others.
Can you learn from someone else's trip through the path of desire?
To get straight to the path of renunciation?
Can you learn that money ≠ happiness without experiencing this lesson yourself?
Oh! But you learned it in a previous lifetime, Hinduism says.
At some point, you asked "is this all?", and are finally applying it in this lifetime.
New question: WHAT DO WE REALLY WANT?
- To be, to know, joy
- ^^ we want these to be infinite; not temporary
- Liberation; moksha मोक्श
- Anyone can achieve it.
- We already possess all the abilities to achieve our liberation.
- You're no longer caught up in this incarnation of the universe...
